GALAX Revolution 05 PC Case
Galax’s Revolution 05 PC case is a part of their series with the same name. It’s a relatively inexpensive computer case full of surprises, boasting tempered glass side panels and a front mesh panel, to say the least.
What’s in the box?
The box contains the case along with all of the mounting hardware required to assemble a PC. The case includes four pre-installed fans with auto RGB lighting. However, the fans cannot be turned off. The body is made of strong SPCC metal that will not warp easily. It is a large case that can be customized for mid and high-end configurations. A radiator of up to 360mm in the front and up to 280mm at the top can be installed to further cool the system.
On the left side, there is a glass panel that allows you to see the inside of the machine and all of its components in their full glory. The Revolution 05 supports ATX, M-ATX, and ITX motherboards and has plenty of space for cable management on both the front and back bays.
The case supports up to 360mm radiators or 3x 120mm fans in the front. Two 120mm or two 140mm fans or equivalent sized radiators can be fit at the top, and the back has a single 120mm fan. The Revolution 05 also allows for up to two 120mm fans to be mounted on the PSU cover to ensure proper airflow inside the case. That makes up a total of 8 fans that can be connected to a machine built in this case! This ensures sufficient airflow inside the case to cool even the hottest components. These many fans mean inevitable dust, but the magnetic dust filters on the top and bottom of the cabinet coupled with the mesh on the front will bring the dust situation under control.
The top I/O panel features a power button, reset button, headphone, mic jack, and 3 USB jacks (1 USB 3.2 Gen1 x1 and 2 USB 2.0).
Now, let’s get into some of the unique features and accessories one would get with this case.
It boasts ample space inside for a CPU air Cooler up to the height of 160mm. It supports vertical and horizontal mounting GPUs. The side panel is fixed with 4 thumb screws, which makes it easy to take apart as and when the need arises.
All in all, the Revolution 05 is a beautiful PC case for its price. Plus, the accessories and features discussed above make it among the best available. Atop that, this case is available in two colors, white and black.
